Negativity is all around us. People talk about negative things, the media is talking about negative things. Why? Simply because they sell better than anything positive ever could. So whenever something positive comes along, everyone should do their best to spread the word and make the world just a bit better place by doing that.

Around a month ago, March 6, State Farm Neighborhood Assist ended the submission phase of causes that could make your neighborhood a better place to live in. They received around 3000 different causes from people across the Unites States and Canada, from people in ages 13 to 86.

"Reviewing the 3,000 submissions was an amazing, eye-opening experience," said Youth Advisory Board member Cynthia Villalvazo.

Now a Youth Advisory board of 30 bright socially conscious students have reviewed and handpicked 200 top causes that are now all awaiting for you to vote for them. Why?

The top 40 causes will be receiving a grant of $25 000 towards creating a positive impact in their neighborhoods. Everyone have had the chance to vote up to ten times a day since April 4 and voting is open for everyone until the midnight of April 22.

Help create positive impact in your community. Check out the top 200 causes at www.statefarm.com/neighborhoodassist and cast your votes!
